As "Vreme" finds out, High Prosecution Council he called on his colleagues to show solidarity and help the prosecutors of the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Subotica by paying money. Aleksandra Stojsavljević, whose car was set on fire in the early hours of the morning on December 10 in front of the building where she lives.
The car was set on fire by a group of defendants and minors who are reasonably suspected to be closely related to the defendants whom Stojsavljević interrogated the previous day, and who are accused of a violent crime in which the victim was injured.
On the day when the car was set on fire, December 10, the prosecutor was supposed to question the injured party.
Gathering of support for the plaintiff Stojsavljević
In front of the courthouse, the informal group of judges and prosecutors "Defense of the profession" organized a rally in support of prosecutor Stojsavljević on December 13.
She then said that she did not consider the burning of her car an attack on property, but a direct attack on her and her family.
"It was an act of intimidation," Stojsavljević said.
She said that "such messages must not become acceptable in a legal society" and that she expects a quick and efficient reaction from all competent authorities.
She thanked her colleagues who gathered in front of the courthouse to support her: "Your presence is proof to me that I am not alone, and that we are not alone, and that together we must defend the dignity of our profession."
Prosecutor Stojsavljević is among the signatories of the letter "condemning Aleksandar Vučić's attack on the prosecution".
