More than 200 workers Radio and Television of Serbia (RTS) signed an online petition declaring their support student and students who are protesting, as well as to distance themselves from accusing students in the central news program of the public service.
RTS employees, signatories of the petition, stated that they support the students and pupils of Serbia in the fight for the rule of law. They pointed out that they distance themselves from "inadmissible" accusations of students on RTS, as well as from "unprofessional and inadequate" reporting on student and student protests.
"Students are the most important and best part of our society, our future colleagues, the future of Serbia and RTS." We condemn any kind of violence against them and against all participants of peaceful protests," the petition signatories stated.
The petition "Support for students - employees of RTS" was published on the website petitions.online. A group of RTS workers participated today in front of the public service building in the campaign to deliver mail to those who died at the railway station in Novi Sad, which was called for by the initiative "The bridge remains".
