By the same verdict, his father Radiša Blažić was also sentenced to 20 years in prison for committing the crimes of illegal production, carrying and trafficking of weapons and explosive materials and a serious crime against general security. The second-instance court rejected as unfounded the appeals of the defendants' defense attorneys and confirmed the first-instance verdict, it was announced on the court's website.
Uroš Blažić was found guilty of shooting at three locations in the evening on May 4, 2023, killing a total of nine and injuring 12 people.
In Mali Orašje, Marko Mitrović died on the spot after suffering five injuries, while Nemanja Stevanović, Lazar Milovanović, Petar Mitrović, minors Nikola Milić and Aleksandar Milovanović later died of their injuries in the hospital.
Blažić wounded several people, and in Dubona he killed Milan Panić, Kristina Panić and Dalibor Todorović. He then drove away from the scene in his vehicle, entered the vehicle that was parked in the yard of the house without authorization and drove to the toll plaza, where he entered the taxi vehicle in which were Jelena Aljdinović and the driver Dragoslav Antonović.
Aljdinović told him that she was pregnant and they drove her to her destination, while he threatened the driver with a bomb and ordered him to take him to the village of Vinjište near Kragujevac, where he was arrested.
