Goran Rosić, who was on the run as one of the suspects in the investigation Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime, and in connection with due to the fall of the canopy of the Railway Station in Novi Sad, was arrested abroad.
Extradition proceedings have been initiated against him, it was confirmed for Insider at the Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime.
Rosić is the responsible person of the company TECO, and according to the earlier statements of TOK, he actually manages the companies "Pro+Service center", "Bambino shoes" and "Zevas".
He is charged in the TOK investigation into financial flows related to the modernization project Hungarian-Serbian railways.
The Prosecutor's Office also states that, except for G. R, all the other suspects have already been questioned.
Who are the suspects?
By order of the TOK, on August 1, suspects were arrested in the financial investigation that is being conducted in connection with the fall of the canopy.
As the Prosecutor's Office announced at the time, six people suspected of having committed corrupt criminal acts were arrested, and that their arrest was the result of the work of the Task Force as part of the investigation into the fall of the canopy.
The Prosecution alleges that by concluding annexes to commercial contracts and agreements, the suspect Tomislav Momirović, Goran Vesić.
The suspects, according to the prosecution, enabled the contractor to carry out additional work for which the obligation of subsequent payment upon invoicing in the amount of 64 million dollars was assumed, thereby obtaining a material benefit for the contractor, in the value determined so far of at least 18 million dollars, and the budget of Serbia caused damage in the amount of 115.558.520,43 US dollars, which represents the difference between the assumed financial obligations for the budget of Serbia and the contractual price from the Commercial Agreement.
