Demands of farmers
Their demands are the payment of all outstanding debts to farmers, the payment of one-time support in the amount of 300 euros per hectare for all spring crops and fruits due to the consequences of drought and frost, and the liberation of the market from monopolies and cartel influence.
Among the demands is that fuel intended for farmers be sold at pumps from January 1, 2026 without excise duty, freezing of existing agricultural loans and agricultural production support loans with one percent annual interest.
Farmers are also looking for a solution to the problem of fictitious farms.
Arrests at the previous protest
The previous protest of agricultural women, in mid-September, resulted in the arrest of some of them.
