The first basic public prosecution announced today that MB (24) was involved in the attack on the director and professor of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. Stevan Filipović, admitted during the hearing the guilt for violent behavior which he is charged with.
The suspect, as well as the first defendant L. D, admitted to the actions that were charged against him in the criminal report, it was stated in the announcement.
The arrested man who stole Stevan Filipović's phone will defend himself on bail
Bearing in mind that the suspect has not been convicted before and has a duly registered residence, public plaintiff he did not propose ordering custody, but the suspect will defend himself from freedom in the further course of the proceedings.
The police have established the identity of the third participant of the event and are looking for him.
For now, the identity of the person who took Filipović's mobile phone from the street has not been established.
At the beginning of August, the director and professor of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Stevan Filipović, testified that he was beaten in the center of Belgrade. He stated that the attack occurred after he photographed and filmed a group of men writing messages on a building that is under protection.
