Unlike the Assembly of Belgrade, the authorities of many other places in Serbia organized lavish and expensive New Year 2026 celebrations. Čačak is special from all in the country - see below.
Zlatibor
For example, in Zlatibor, everything will be blaring with Dejan Matić, Dejan Jevđić's trumpet orchestra, Breskvica, and Džejla Ramović.
The municipality of Čajetina allocated about 47.832 euros for the concert of Dejan Matić, about 50.708 euros for the performance of Anđela Ignjatović Breskvica, the concert of Džejla Ramović will cost about 25.000 euros, and the performance of the trumpet orchestra about 519.200,00 dinars.
The concerts are planned for five evenings, at which 100.000 people are expected.
Vrnjacka Banja, Kopaonik
Breskvica will also sing in Vrnjačka banja, and at the reception itself, for 4.720.000 dinars. The following evening, for the replay, Jelena Karleuša will receive 1,700.000 dinars.
Bijelo dugme and Goran Bregović will sing together on Kopaonik in Hotel Grand, at the reception. A day later, they will be replaced by Milica Pavlović.
There will be "Bread and Salt" in Kragujevac.
Bor, Ruma, Pirot
A reception with concerts is also planned in Bor, for which 3,619.000 dinars have been allocated. The Gobović sisters will sing at the reception for 1,350.000 dinars.
Concerts by Ace Lukas, OK band and Mira Škorić have been announced on the Gradski trg in Ruma. The informal group "Group 45 - For Free Rum" therefore submitted a petition to the city government because it opposes the organization of the reception primarily due to, as they state, the general atmosphere in society and the wrong distribution of money from the city budget.
The Amadeus band is coming to Pirot, organized by the local House of Culture.
Cacak
On the night of December 31 and January 1, the New Year's Eve will not be organized in the city square, which has been organized every year by the city government with money from the budget.
The leadership of the city of Čačak made a decision that the money for organizing the New Year's Eve be diverted to help citizens with treatment.
It is possible that Čačak will be a unique city in Serbia on December 31.
