Republic Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ) issued a warning on thunderstorms which will affect parts of Serbia during Wednesday, June 10 and Thursday, June 11.
According to the announcement issued on Wednesday morning, unstable weather accompanied by showers, thunderstorms, hail and gale force winds is expected in several regions of the country.
Meteorologists state that on Wednesday afternoon thunderstorms are expected mainly in the hilly and mountainous areas of Serbia, and that as a local phenomenon.
During the night between Wednesday and Thursday, the storm could affect Vojvodina and lower Podrinje, where a linear thunderstorm system arriving from Hungary and Croatia is expected to pass.
The largest part of central and southern Serbia could be hit by bad weather on Thursday during the day, when showers with thunder, hail and strong gusts of wind are forecast.
