A more diverse start to summer vacation than ever. Graduates of elementary schools finished their classes on June 6, and the rest of the elementary school students welcome this Monday (June 16) on vacation. However, this is not the case with everyone.
According to the Ministry's amendments, the school year can be extended for primary schools a maximum of five teaching days, and for secondary schools a maximum of 20, i.e. 25 teaching days for gymnasiums.

The final exam for eighth grade students will be held on June 23, 24 and 25, 2025. The students will take the Serbian/mother tongue test on June 23, the mathematics test on June 24, and the third test in the subject of their choice on June 25, 2025, the Ministry announced.

However, since the blockades were noticeably more massive in secondary schools, there is also a much bigger problem to conclude grades and end the school year. Certain secondary schools did not work for months, so the Ministry decided that in those institutions, "which, due to the suspension of work, did not fully implement educational work and do not have enough time to make up lessons and evaluate students", the second semester can be completed no later than July 18 for students of all grades, i.e. June 27 for students of the final grades of high school.
By the end of June, students in the third grade of the three-year and fourth grade of the four-year vocational schools have a deadline to finish the school year.
