It's getting closer to us New Year and Christmas holidays, and with them also abbreviated working hours facilities in Serbia. Non-working days for stores are January 1, 2, 6 and 7. Today, most stores are open until 18 p.m., Nova.rs reports.
During the New Year's and Christmas holidays, the working hours of shopping centers, markets, markets, post offices and pharmacies in Belgrade will generally be reduced, and on January 1 and 7, most facilities will be completely closed.
Shopping centers
Yesterday, shopping centers were open regularly, and some even extended until 23 p.m. Today, most of them work abbreviated until 18 p.m.
Tomorrow, January 1, is a non-working day. On Monday, January 6, the working hours of boutiques and stores are until 18 p.m., and Tuesday is a non-working day again.
As for cinemas in shopping centers, they will be open every day, on January 1 and 7, mostly from the afternoon until 23 pm, while on December 31 and January 6, they will be open mostly until 16 pm.
On December 31st, most retail chains will work for a shorter period of time, mostly until 18:1 p.m., while on January 2st they will be closed. From January 5 to January 6, shops will work as usual, while on January 18, on Christmas Day, everything will be open until 8 p.m., on Christmas Day, shops will be closed. From January XNUMX, working hours will return to the old ones.

Lidl
All Lidl stores will be open for a shorter time on the day of the welcome, December 31, until 18 p.m., to be exact. The first day of the New Year, January 1, will be non-working, and on January 2, regular working hours will resume.
On Christmas Day, January 6, Lidl stores will be open until 18 p.m., and Christmas Day, January 7, will be a non-working day. From January 8, there will be regular working hours.
Between the two holidays, from January 2 to 5, as announced by this chain, the stores will be open during regular working hours.
Opening hours of "Maxi" stores for New Year and Christmas
On the last day of 2024, Tuesday, December 31, all retail outlets of the "Maxi" chain will be open until 18 p.m., while January 1 is a non-working day for all retail outlets.
Then, from January 2 to 4, all "Maxi" facilities will have regular working hours, while on January 5, working hours will be until 21 p.m. Facilities that operate 24 hours on January 2 and 8, start working at 07:30.
On Christmas Day, January 6, all retail establishments are open until 18 p.m., while Christmas Day, January 7, is a non-working day for all retail establishments.
Regular business hours will resume from January 8, and all 24-hour facilities will start operating that day at 07:30.
"Universport"
The stores of "Univerexport" will be open until 31:18 on December 1st, while they will be closed on January 7st. Exceptions are retail establishments in Zlatibor (corner of Rujanske and Obudovice, Krfska 16), Vrnjačka Banja (Kneza Miloša n31d), which will be open a little longer on December 20, until 1 p.m., as well as on January 8, from 20 a.m. to XNUMX p.m.
On the second day of the New Year, January 2, it will work a little shorter, until 20 p.m. instead of 22 p.m., and from January 3 everything returns to normal until January 6. On that day, their facilities will be open until 18 p.m., while Sunday, January 7, i.e. Christmas, is a non-working day.
Opening hours of "Super Vero" stores for New Year and Christmas
On December 31, "Super Vero" markets will be open until 18 p.m., and the same applies to January 6. Non-working days are January 1 and 7.
On other days, normal business hours apply.
Metro
"Metro" sales facilities will be open until 31 p.m. on December 18, as well as on Christmas Day, January 6.
Their facilities will be closed on January 1 and 7. On other days, normal business hours apply.
Opening hours of "Idea", "Roda" and Mercator" stores for the New Year and Christmas
On Sunday, December 31, "Idea", "Roda" and "Mercator" stores will be open until 18 pm, while Wednesday, January 1 will be a non-working day for all their stores throughout Serbia.
On Monday, January 6, all IDEA stores, Roda markets and Mercator hypermarkets will be open until 18 p.m., and Tuesday, January 7 will be a non-working day for all stores throughout Serbia.
On-call posts
JP "Pošta Srbije" announced that during all holidays - January 1, 2 and 7, only post offices on duty will work. The main post office at Takovska 2 in Belgrade, the post offices at the Batrovci, Horgoš, and Čukarka border crossings and the Jarinje and Brnjak administrative crossings, which will be open non-stop. The post office at the Gradina border crossing will be on duty from 7 a.m. to 18.30:XNUMX p.m.
On Thursday, January 2, 64 duty post offices will be opened throughout the country, in Belgrade and all major cities and tourist centers.
Post offices in shopping centers in Belgrade, Pančevo and Kragujevac, post offices in "Univereksport" facilities in Belgrade, Novi Sad and its surroundings, Zrenjanin, Sombor and Apatin, in "Roda" facilities in Kragujevac, Sremska Mitrovica and Šabac, post offices in Zlatibor and Kopaonik and other duty posts.
On the same day, the post office at the Sremska Rača and Šid border crossings will work non-stop, and the post office at the "Nikola Tesla" airport from 8 a.m. to 15 p.m.
On Tuesday, December 31 and Monday, January 6, post offices with all-day working hours will have reduced hours, until 17 p.m.

Markets are closed on January 1 and 7
Markets in Belgrade will have changed working hours during the New Year and Christmas holidays, it was announced by the PUC "Belgrade Markets". Green markets will be open as usual on Tuesday, December 31, from 6 a.m. to 19 p.m., and will be closed on January 1 and 7.
The markets "Zemun", "Banovo brdo", "Bele vode", "Dušanovac" and TC "Novi Beograd" will be open for a shorter time on January 1 and 7, from 6 a.m. to 14 p.m., while on January 2 all green markets will be open from 6 a.m. until 14 p.m.
The open shopping center Miljakovac - "Beogradski buvljak" will not be open on January 1 and 7, and on January 2 this market will be open from 6 a.m. to 14 p.m.
At the "Dušanovac" market, sales from vehicles will not take place on December 31, nor on January 6. On Tuesday, January 7, this market will be open as usual, from 19:6 to XNUMX:XNUMX.
Free parking during holidays
The garage at the "Palilula" market will be open on January 1, 2 and 7 from midnight to 0 hours, as well as the parking lot at the "Zemun" market and the garage at the TC "Novi Beograd" market. The garage at the "Zeleni venac" market will not be open on January 24 and 1, while on January 7 it will be open until 2 p.m. The parking lot at the "Dušanovac" market will be open on January 15, 1, and 2 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to the "Belgrade Markets" announcement.
PUK "Parking service" will not control and charge for parking in zoned parts of the city during the New Year holidays, on Wednesday and Thursday, January 1 and 2, as well as on Christmas Day, Tuesday, January 7, when the work counters will also be closed with parties in the streets Takovska 31, Mileševska 51 and Milutina Milankovića 134g.
Pharmacies
State pharmacies in the "Apoteka Beograd" system do not work during official non-working days. However, on-call pharmacies must work non-stop, and in Belgrade, these are the ones at Nemanjina 2, Kralja Milana 9, Glavnoja 24 (Zemun), Maršala Tolbukhina 30 and Dr. Đorđe Kovačevića 27.
Most private pharmacies will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday (January 1 and 2), except for on-call private pharmacies, which are normally open around the clock.
