Two people were injured when a truck with a crane overturned, according to the Pristina portal Reporteri, while KoSSev reports that one worker was killed and another injured when a mobile crane collapsed during work at the construction site. Both workers were immediately transferred to medical care. One of them succumbed to injuries.
This tragedy comes just a few days after as many as three were recorded in one day worker's death na Kosovo.
In the morning hours of July 22, two construction workers lost their lives in Djakovica, after falling from a great height while working on a building under construction. An investigation was opened immediately, and two people were detained and are in 48-hour police custody.
On the same day, the death of the third worker who was injured earlier in the municipality of Istok was confirmed, he was hospitalized in the Clinical Center in Pristina, where he died on July 22. The information was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Kosovo police, Fadilj Gashi, according to the KoSSev portal.
