In the municipality of Čukarica in Belgrade, during the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, six or even seven cars were burning in three different streets
The first fire broke out on a car in Beogradski Bataljon Street around 23:20 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, RTS unofficially learns, and then the fire from one car spread to three more vehicles.
Then, at 2:30 a.m., another vehicle was set on fire in Slobodan Aligrudić, which burned completely. In Milosav Vlajić at 4:05, only the front part of one car burned. Among the vehicles that were set on fire was an expensive Mercedes in Palmotićeva Street.
No one was injured, and the investigation is ongoing.

The wave of burning cars comes after they are in Belgrade during the summer, Molotov cocktails were thrown at several catering establishments in Belgrade. The police are investigating whether it is extortion from the owners of the racket or a showdown with the mafia.
Thus, at the end of July, a Molotov cocktail was thrown at a restaurant in Vojvode Stepe Street, which caused great material damage. At the beginning of the same month, a bar on Obilićevo venc was set on fire, and the thugs also targeted "Code kaffe" in Žarkovo and a well-known restaurant in Topčiderski Park. An explosive device was also thrown at the same restaurant in mid-April.
At a similar time, two coffee shops in two on the corner of Molerova and Njegoševa streets in Belgrade, in Vračar, were also destroyed, one of which is known to be "Zrno".
At the beginning of August, two cars burned down in Vračar after Molotov cocktails were thrown at them.
