Over 2.200 teachers, associates and researchers of universities in Serbia have signed their support to students who are in blockade, stating that they firmly stand "with their students in the common fight for a better society".
"We strongly condemn any attempt by the authorities to intimidate colleagues by publicly sharing their private data, spreading falsehoods about them, as well as by sending police officers and agents of the Security and Information Agency to their addresses and the addresses of their parents," the statement said, with an appeal to competent authorities to conscientiously and responsibly perform their work.
The signatories included professors and associates from the University of Belgrade, University of Novi Sad, University of Nis, University of Kragujevac, University of Arts in Belgrade, University of Pristina with temporary seat in Kosovska Mitrovica, as well as other universities.
