The monthly fee for users was between 50.000 and 55.000 dinars, Nova ekonomija writes.
"The subject of this contract is the accommodation of a person in a home-made facility, as well as the provision of food services, night rest, maintenance of room cleanliness, provision of personal hygiene services (bathing and changing clothes), laundry, regular administration of therapy prescribed by a doctor with the presence of medical staff and nurses, use of the space (courtyard) in front of the facility for walking and other leisure activities."
This is how the first article of the Agreement on the provision of services that the users of the "Ivanović and Sons" home in Velika Moštanica signed before the accommodation, which Nova ekonomija had a look at, reads.
The contract also shows that the menu was formed on a daily basis, that the home has a signed contract with the Čukarica Health Center, where the user will be provided with emergency medical assistance if necessary, as well as that the user of the home will provide medication at his own expense.
Home price and deposit
The price of accommodation, the daughter of one of the beneficiaries told Nova Ekonomija, was between 50.000 and 55.000 dinars per month.
In the contract that New Economy had access to, however, the field for the cost of accommodation was left blank, although the document was signed by the beneficiary's daughter and the home's legal representative.
Foreign citizens were also obliged to pay a deposit of 3.000 euros when signing the contract.
Visits at a specific time
The contract also states that the beneficiary's relatives can visit every day, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., as well as in the afternoon, from 14 p.m. to 19 p.m.
Also, in exceptional cases, visits can take place outside these hours, but no later than 20:30 p.m., and only if the home management approves it.
The home received a permit despite the initial work ban
We would like to remind you that the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs banned the activity of the "Ivanović and Sons" home on July 10, 2019. Regardless, in May 2021, the home received a license to operate for five years.
At the end of December 2024, however, it was announced that this home had acquired the condition for forced liquidation, because it did not regularly submit financial reports to the Agency for Economic Registers. In particular, this company has not submitted reports for 2023 and 2021 by the end of 2022.
The accounts of this company have been blocked several times since 2020, and currently they have been blocked for almost three years - as of March 2022, the total amount of the block is 4.129.546 dinars.
Miloš Ivanović, the owner of this home, owned another illegal home for the elderly - "Ivanović-Makić" in Lazarevac. On August 30, 2022, the Ministry of Labor prohibited this home from performing this activity.
Ivanović was arrested after the fire "Ivanović" in Veliki Bork near Barajevo, in which eight people died, and which is owned by his wife, writes New economy.
