Germany announced a public call for participation in the tender for the planning, management, construction and dismantling of the country's temporary pavilion at a specialized exhibition Exspo in the 2027st Belgrade.
As Forbes Serbia writes, the notice on the implementation of the tender procedure was published on Monday in the European Union register "Tenders electronic daily". The customer is the Federal Republic of Germany, through the Ministry of Economy and Energy of that country.
The process is organized as a negotiation procedure in which at least three companies that meet the required conditions will compete. The budget of the tender is 7,5 million euros (excluding German VAT), and the duration of the contract is from May 11, 2026 to December 31, 2027.
Planning, construction and dismantling of the pavilion
It is evident from the ad that the subject of the contract will be services related to the development of the concept, planning and implementation (construction of the pavilion), interior and exterior decoration, technical management, dismantling and all transport services related to the temporary German pavilion, writes Forbes Serbia.
As stated, Germany will be represented at the Expo exhibition in Belgrade from May 15 to August 15, 2027, and its aim is to provide an attractive contribution to the theme "Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All" within the sub-theme "Play for Progress".
Germany recently awarded another contract worth €450.000 for consultancy services related to the planning and construction of the pavilion.
147 countries have confirmed their participation
Participation in the Expo 2027 exhibition in Belgrade has been confirmed by 147 countries so far.
On November 13, it was announced on the website of that manifestation that the agreement on the participation of Slovakia was signed, which is the first agreement on the participation signed with a country participating in the specialized exhibition. The words of the director of the company Expo 2027, Danilo Jerinić, were also mentioned that the signing of contracts with the 127 countries that have so far confirmed their participation will continue in the coming months.
