New incident in Chacilenda - a man (27) injured another man (37) with a knife in the thigh area.
Members of intervention units police, engaged in securing a public gathering in front of the House National Assembly, arrested DP (27) today due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he inflicted a slight bodily injury with a knife on one of the participants of that gathering, announced the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Serbia.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it is suspected that on Sunday morning around 4:10 a.m. on the plateau in front of the National Assembly, a thirty-seven-year-old man, who is a "participant of that reported gathering", injured the upper leg with a knife.
The injured man was taken care of in the Emergency Center, it was stated in the announcement.
The suspect was detained for up to 48 hours and he will be brought to the First Primary Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade along with a criminal complaint.
