Misha Bachulov, the leader of the "Be a Hero" movement, was released on Thursday (November 6) to defend himself, having been detained the previous day while leaving the Palace of Justice, following a hearing at the High Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade.
His lawyer Milan Alanović confirmed that Bačulov was released.
"It's true, the court rejected the proposal for detention and he was released," said Alanović.
Bachulov was questioned in Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade which suspects him of "coordinating the violence that took place near Ćaciland on November 2nd that evening".
According to the prosecution, Bachulov allegedly did this during hospitalization at the Clinical Center of Serbia, using the official mobile phone of KCS employees.
Bachulov denied that he had committed the crime he is charged with, which is the preparation of an act against the constitutional order and security of Serbia, the prosecution announced.
The Novi Sad councilor from the "Be a Hero" movement was first arrested on October 31 in Novi Sad, then released, and then arrested again on November 5 in front of the Palace of Justice.
It all started at Pink.
The campaign against Misha Bachulov started after the footage of Misha Bachulov walking in front of the railway station in that city a few hours before the fall of the canopy was shown on Pink TV, which was hosted by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.
Vučić said that he received these recordings, and asked why "certain structures in the state hid the recordings" made three hours before the fall of the canopy in Novi Sad, in which the politician Miša Bachulov can also be seen.
Bachulov was then arrested at the end of October after the regime media announced that Bachulov was suspected of allegedly trying to fake the poisoning and that he intended to accuse Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and the head of state of the alleged attempted murder.
