Lawyer Igor Isailović, a close associate of the Minister of Finance Siniše Malog and the Speaker of the Assembly Ana Brnabić, for the third time he got the job of providing legal services for the Specialized Exhibition Expo 2027.
Isailović also has other well-known clients - such as Minister Nikola Selaković, the godfather of the President of the State Nikola Petrović, of the controversial businessman Zvonko Veselinović, writes KRIK.
According to the documents published on the Public Procurement Portal, Isailović and his associates were the only ones to apply for the tender for the provision of legal services for the Expo. He offered less than 12 million dinars - the same amount as the previous two times when he made an offer for the same job.
Isailović's offer was accepted at the end of June, and thus his law office "Isailović & Partners" has received almost 36 million dinars from Expo so far.
Igor Isailović has had close friendship and business ties with people at the top of the state for years.
Collaboration with Siniša Mali
He is one of the closest associates of the Minister of Finance Sinisa Malog, as KRIK previously wrote about. He was involved in all of Mali's affairs, but he also gave him important advice, as Mali's ex-wife Marija Mali told in an interview for KRIK.
"Igor worked as a lawyer at 'Grand Kafi' and they met there when Siniša was in charge of negotiating the sale of that company. Isailović was at the beginning of his career and Siniša took him under his wing and taught him the business. Isailović then left the group of lawyers with whom he worked and founded his own firm. Since then, there has not been a single job that Siniša has ever done without his participation," she stated.
Marija Mali also said that Isailović advised Malog how to deceive the Anti-Corruption Agency and falsely show the origin of 95.000 euros.
"Siniša and his lawyer Igor Isailović came up with the idea to show that after the death of my father I found money that I then used for everyday needs. I received a message from Isailović: 'Maria, you need to sign a statement for the Anti-Corruption Agency'. I said: 'It's out of the question, I don't want to do such things,'" she said and stated that she did it anyway after talking to her ex-husband.
Isailović was also the man to whom Mali transferred the management rights of his agency "Oli consulting", which we wrote about earlier.
Collaboration with Ana Brnabić
Apart from Mali, Isailović also collaborated with Ana Branabić, now the President of the National Assembly. They founded the company "Energy & Innovation" back in 2015, which was later shut down.
Isailović also had business cooperation with the former chief city planner of Belgrade, Milutin Folic, which was previously revealed by KRIK. The two of them founded the company "Sillage" in 2019 - just two months after Folic's term expired. The company sold luxury apartments in "Belgrade on the water" and other elite complexes in the capital. Less than a year later, Isailović left the company.
Isailović also had other well-known clients close to the top of the government. Thus, he represented the godfather of the President of Serbia, Nikola Petrović, in the proceedings initiated by Petrović's lawsuits against KRIK, and he helped the controversial businessman from the north of Kosovo, Zvonko Veselinović, to establish companies.
Also, Isailović is part of the legal team that is defending Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković in the "General Staff" case before the Special Court.
