Traffic ahead Assembly of Serbia and in the surrounding streets, which was blocked because there was part of a so-called tent on the road Chacilenda, was reinstated on Sunday evening.
The new roundabout at Nikola Pašić Square was put into operation, after a break of several months public transport is driving on that street again.
Cars and buses can once again pass through Dečanska and Ulica Dragoslav Jovanović, and according to the announcements of the Secretariat for Traffic, the "Pionirski Park" garage, which was also closed, will continue to work at full capacity.
Roundabout
The novelty in the case of that public garage is that from now on it is possible to access it only from the direction of the Abbot's Palace towards Nikola Pašić Square, by going along Nikola Pašić Square and from there turning right into Dragoslav Jovanovića Street.
"Additional ones have been built for public transport vehicles, which stop at Nikola Pašić Square, in both directions bus niche, which enables better movement of other motor vehicles and better flow of the entire traffic", it was stated in the announcement of the Secretariat for Transport.

Month-long incidents
After numerous incidents that happened in the camp of supporters of the government and criticism from the opposition, the president of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić announced at the end of 2025 that the tents would be removed at the beginning of this year.
On that occasion, he said that "the state Serbia defended", talking about the removal of the tent settlement and that the people who stayed in the tents are heroes who saved the homeland.
The tent settlement was formed in Pionirski Park at the beginning of March, on the eve of a large student gathering, and in April it spread to the plateau and the road in front of the Parliament of Serbia.
On several occasions, people from the tent attacked journalists who tried to report from that place.
