"The first tree" is the name of mass planting on Milićev brdo, the last green oasis of Belgrade, as it is described in the ecological society Ecomorph, the organizer of this action.
Milićevo brdo is located between Višnjica, Lešće, Slanac and Veliko selo, and in recent years it has been the target of illegal construction and destruction.

The planting was organized this Saturday, April 4, and according to Nemanja Jovanović from Ekomorf, it was more than successful.
Work action
He says that it was "a labor action like from the time when we raised the country from the ashes of war."
"We planted 130 pine trees, and partially revitalized a small part of the forest belt, which suffered as a result of the heavy snow," says Nemanja Jovanović.
Milića hill was greened by 30 people in this action.
"A fantastic response and enthusiasm that, at least in this atmosphere, creates the feeling that it is not in vain to fight for common interests. A beautiful picture of children planting, and with whom the most beautiful memories are created, paves the way to a potentially better future," says Jovanović.
Incident
Unfortunately, there was an incident. Nemanja Jovanović says that "several plot owners appeared at the quads, and asked what we were doing on 'their' hill. They prevented us from crossing their meadow, as a result of which there was pushing and discomfort."
"Aggression and anger, of course, are not without reason," he says and states that the reason for it is "the wild construction with which they are destroying Milićevo brdo. I emphasize that we did not even plan to plant on anyone's private property, but exclusively in the state forest, but that did not prevent the violent plot owners from marching past us all afternoon trying to intimidate us."
Nemanja Jovanović announces that "this is just one act by which we will show that united we can do a lot, that we can and must work in the name of the common good, that it is imperative to preserve every meter of green areas in our city!"
