The storm accompanied by heavy downpour and pea-sized hail struck on two occasions today Kragujevac, causing traffic problems, overflowing of rainwater and fecal sewage and application of large amounts of rubble, sand and mud to the roadway.
The first gusts of strong wind accompanied by heavy rain and hail started at 11:35 and lasted until 12:05, and at 2:00 p.m. parts of Šumadija and Kragujevac were hit by a second gust with much stronger wind and rain, which lasted for almost an hour.
The sewage network could not receive a large amount of water, so fecal sewage spilled into a yard.

In the Stanovo settlement, the water flooded the NIS gas station, and at the exit from Kragujevac, the overflowing sewer lifted and carried away the steel cover of the manhole located on the roadway.

The deep open manhole was first marked with a large branch by a conscientious driver, and after an hour the utility services put up a warning sign.
Drivers are advised to drive carefully, especially before the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute announced new local storms during the afternoon and evening.
