The University Clinical Center (UKC) in Nis announced that Dragan Milić dismissed from the post of head of the Clinic for Cardiac Surgery, announced the Juzne vesti portal.
They say that the decision on you was brought because Milić for a long period of time "stated untruths on social media and in public appearances about the work of UKC Niš, thereby violating the documents on the work and behavior of UKC Niš". We asked Dr. Milić for a comment on this decision and we are expecting a response.
As stated in the UKC announcement, Milić was offered to conclude an annex to the employment contract, whereby he would be removed from the position of manager and accept the job of medical doctor, subspecialist of the Department of Cardiac Surgery and Complex Vascular Procedures. He has a deadline of 8 days to either accept it, with the possibility of appealing the decision to the court, or to refuse - in which case he will be fired.
The "war" of statements and announcements, as well as the filing of criminal charges, between Dragan Milić and UKC director Zoran Perišić, otherwise an SNS official, has been going on for some time. The latest "move" of Klinik is to replace Milić, precisely because of his performances.

Spoke untruths about the work of UKC Niš
"During a long period of time, the head of the Cardiac Surgery Clinic of UC Niš, Dr. Dragan Milić, expressed untruths about the work of UC Niš on social media and in public appearances, thereby violating the documents on the work and behavior of UC Niš. That is why a decision was made to dismiss him from the position of head of this organizational unit of UC Niš," they state in UCC.
They claim that Milić's constant posts on social networks contribute to the general public "creating an atmosphere in which it is constantly questioned whether the University Clinical Center Niš is equipped and ready to provide health care, all based on arbitrary allegations, which have no factual basis and with unclear motives."
"In the atmosphere of a constant media attack, without a real reason, the professional services, led by the administration, are forced to constantly deny unfounded allegations, fake news and half-truths, for which it is sometimes impossible to explain in plain language what is at stake, it all implies that your management is not in the best interest of the work of the clinic, nor the institution as a whole. At the same time, you yourself grossly ignore the procedures, the orders of the director of the Naš University Clinical Center that are submitted to you for action, you are absent from work without notification and approval, you do not attend collegiums, you constantly publicly state untruths that create an atmosphere of distrust in the work of the Niš University Clinical Center," the statement concludes.
