Football cup match between Novi Pazar and Red Stars served for new outbursts from "fans" of both teams, many of which were based on nationalism.
Incidents were recorded at the very start of the match, and the match was interrupted several times due to, at the very least, inappropriate behavior. "fans".
One video shows the hand of a "fan" hidden behind a banner with the hand of a convicted war criminal. Ratko Mladić, icon Jesus Christ and three clenched fingers - as he punches the helmet of a gendarme.
A few moments later, a belt appears and someone tries to hit the policeman with it.
Many "fans" can be seen in the stands with hoods on their heads, but without masks on their faces, which makes them very easy to identify. One of the "fans" addresses the police in a very inappropriate manner, but the police do not intervene at all due to these acts of disrespecting uniformed civil servants.
On the other hand, Sportal, a sports portal within the tabloid Blic, published a photo showing the "fans" of Novi Pazar with the banner "Our grandfather is your grandmother for 500 years!".
After the end of the game, the violence spilled over into the streets of Novi Pazar, and the police were so helpless in doing their job that one incident happened right in front of their station.
"Tonight, there was a physical confrontation between two people in front of the Police Department building in Novi Pazar. According to unofficial information, the conflict was preceded by earlier arguments that took place at the stadium, after which the tension escalated in front of the police building," reports IndeksOnline.
One video shows a mass fight, and the portal IndeksOnline states that it is a confrontation in the very center of Novi Pazar.
On the video from the streets of Novi Pazar, you can see "fans" getting out of the bus they traveled on and moving along the street that they completely paralyzed. The fact that they shout "Ratko Mladić" suggests that they are "fans" of Red Star.
The inappropriate behavior of the "fans" also caused a reaction from the Football Association of Serbia, which, along with the usual platitudes, "strongly condemns the behavior of individual fans and the increasingly frequent use of pyrotechnics."
