A one-hour warning strike by Nikola Tesla Airport workers will be held on Friday, unless the employer meets the workers' demands, it was confirmed for "Vreme".
On Friday, February 21st, at Nikola Tesla Airport a one-hour session will be held strike warnings.
The plan is to suspend work that day between 12 and 13 p.m., the trade union "Zajedno" told "Vreme".
The reason for the strike is the difficult financial condition of the employees and wages that are not in line with market trends, according to the union.
Two requests
The employees who will participate in the strike demand that the salaries of those arrested be at least the average salary in the territory of the city of Belgrade for November 2024, increased by the projected inflation for 2025.
The gathering is planned at Terminal 1, with the fact that the employees engaged on that day will carry out the strike at their workplaces according to the regular schedule, while respecting the minimum work process.
"Part of the employees, although they support the strike, will not be able to participate, because the minimum work process must be preserved by law," the union states.
They add that negotiations with the employer are underway, and if the management accepts their demands in the meantime, the warning strike may be cancelled.
