Danka Selić, General Director of S.P. Belgrade Fair, is the winner of the annual Business Woman of the Year award for the achieved results in business in 2016.
"This is also a team award, an award for the entire team that participated in achieving these results," the announcement states.
DP Belgrade Fair is the winner of the Charter, with which the jury of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce for the awarding of the annual award highly values the company on the occasion of its jubilee anniversary and significant business ventures.
The total economic effects of the company's operations in 2016 were estimated at close to 13 billion dinars in the value of goods and services sold and four billion dinars in gross added value. This ensured about 2,5 billion dinars in total tax revenues. Although it has only 180 employees, the Belgrade Fair hired more than 1700 "complete" jobs, about 10 percent more than the previous year. It is estimated that the events of the Belgrade Fair alone attracted more than 48 foreign and almost 20 domestic guests to Belgrade and its hotels, who together spend around one billion dinars.
Highly appreciating the desire of businessmen and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce to point out the most successful examples on the economic map of Serbia, the Belgrade Fair thanks everyone who recognized the effort put in and the results achieved, which led to such prestigious awards.
