The project "Purely from love" Lidl is conducting for the sixth year in a row, and this year it has been extended to education and direct cooperation with local organizations, which through free educational workshops in cooperation with the long-term partner, the organization "Cepa do osmeha", will further bring the participants closer to topics such as the importance of environmental activism and civil society. Additionally, the idea is to strengthen the capacities of local organizations through tips for effective team management and practical instructions for organizing clean-up actions and removing waste from nature. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the project "Purely from love", its importance and the results achieved in previous years.
All interested organizations and citizen associations can apply to participate in Lidl's ecological workshops, which will be held during April and May in the following order:
• Novi Sad – April 26, 2025
• Niš – May 10, 2025
• Zaječar – May 17, 2025
• Novi Pazar – May 24, 2025
• Belgrade – May 31, 2025
The workshops will last from 9 a.m. to 16.30:XNUMX p.m., and participation is completely free. To attend the workshop, it is necessary to send the name of the organization or citizens' association, the number of participants, as well as the desired location and date of the workshop to the email address responsibility@lidl.rs. The application deadline is April 20, 2025.
After attending one of the workshops, participants will have the opportunity to apply for Lidl's financial support for their environmental actions, which are scheduled to be implemented during the summer months - from June to September 2025. It will be possible to submit the mentioned applications within two weeks from the end of the workshop, and the financial resources that will be determined for the implementation of the mentioned action will be allocated by Lidl to selected organizations whose proposals fit into the strategic goals of the company's sustainability strategy, in the amount of a maximum of 1.000 euros in dinar equivalents.
Through the "Purely from love" project, the Lidl company strives to empower and connect members of local communities with the desire to, year after year, continue to initiate positive changes in society and contribute to the preservation of natural wealth. As part of the REset Plastic international strategy, during five years of implementation, the mentioned project gathered more than 4.000 volunteers across the country, and during the previous years, more than 100 tons of waste were removed from nature with the involvement of volunteers.
Environmental responsibility is one of the pillars of Lidl's business, which, through its activities and projects, strives to continuously improve public awareness of the importance of protecting nature and its resources. Firmly believing that joint efforts, both locally and globally, can create a better and cleaner world, Lidl will continue to build the foundation of a sustainable future for years to come.
