If a referendum on membership in the European Union were to be held in Serbia these days, 54,5 percent of the citizens of Vojvodina would vote for entry, of which 33,3 percent are certain, while 21,2 percent would probably circle "yes." On the other hand, 18,7 percent of Vojvodina residents are definitely against it, and ten percent of their fellow citizens are probably against it. It is also interesting that the older the respondents, the greater the overall support for EU integration. This is one of the results of the survey "Information of citizens of Vojvodina about European processes", which Ninamedia conducted in October of this year on a sample of 1800 respondents between the ages of 18 and 80. It also showed that, even if only in words, citizens are ready to change their lifestyle for the sake of joining the EU (52,6 percent), while 35,8 percent of citizens are ready to improve or retrain, and 35,5 percent to lives for some time with an unsatisfactory standard of living. The largest number of citizens of Vojvodina quite realistically believe that Serbia will enter the EU between 2020 and 2025 (46 percent), 21 percent of those surveyed believe that it will never happen, and 20,6 percent that it will happen quickly, in the period 2014–2019. year. Residents of Vojvodina estimate that by joining the EU, the situation in Serbia will be better when it comes to economic stability (50,1 percent), but worse in terms of the cost of living (49,5 percent) and food prices (38,5 percent).
