"If engagement implies my intention to influence or even change something, then I am not engaged at all. I write what I think about or what I experience, you could say that I write for purely selfish reasons. Therapeutic. But I'm also glad when recognition happens, and it happens. And that's why, at the end of the story, retroactively, I can say that this is where my engagement lies - I put into words and musically shape topics that touch some people, sometimes many people"
